Abstract
⺠NZFO/PZT multiferroic thick films with different PZT ferroelectric slurry layers are successfully prepared onto Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate at low temperature of 600 °C through spin coating technique. ⺠Scanning electron microscope pictures suggest an optimized process of PZT slurry to film surface microstructure. ⺠With proper PZT slurry layer deposited, cracks can be avoided and a dense microstructure can be obtained. ⺠Magnetic and ferroelectric properties also reach a balance in this composition. ⺠A magnetoelectric coupling effect is hence predicted in this NZFO/PZT multiferroic thick film, indicating its potential application in multifunctional devices.
