Abstract
⺠Composite nanofiber membranes were prepared by electrospinning. ⺠The presence of SiO2 improved the mechanical properties of the membranes. ⺠The crystallinity of PVDF reduced by the addition of SiO2. ⺠Nanofiber membranes exhibited a high electrolyte uptake. ⺠The incorporation of SiO2 improved the ionic conductivity of the membranes.
