Abstract

âº The reaction mechanisms of the composites are indicated by using DSC method. âº The amount of Al3Zr blocks decreases with the increases of the B/ZrO2 mole ratio. âº The mechanical properties of the composites depend on the amount of Al3Zr blocks. âº The fracture mechanisms of the composites are affected by the B/ZrO2 mole ratio.
