Abstract
▶ In this present research work, we chosen a lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ferroelectric ceramic, and prepared by both conventional sintering and microwave sintering. ▶ The density, dielectric constant and piezoelectric property enhanced in microwave sintered sample compare with conventional sintered sample. ▶ The values of remnant polarization, Pr, and spontaneous polarization, Ps, are slightly higher for microwave sintered sample. ▶ Microwave sintering technique has distinguished characteristics of energy-saving, rapid processing and uniform temperature distribution throughout the sample.
