Abstract
ⶠIn this present research work, we chosen a lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ferroelectric ceramic, and prepared by both conventional sintering and microwave sintering. ⶠThe density, dielectric constant and piezoelectric property enhanced in microwave sintered sample compare with conventional sintered sample. ⶠThe values of remnant polarization, Pr, and spontaneous polarization, Ps, are slightly higher for microwave sintered sample. ⶠMicrowave sintering technique has distinguished characteristics of energy-saving, rapid processing and uniform temperature distribution throughout the sample.
