Abstract
ⶠThe formation of Al3Ni and Al3Ni2 phases was from addition of Ni to the Mg17Al12. ⶠThe Ni-containing alloys after dehydrogenation produced surplus Mg. ⶠThe favorable hydrogenation performance was from the catalytic effect of surplus Mg. ⶠThe Ni-containing alloys showed high hydrogen capacity and rapid absorption rate. ⶠHydrogen storage properties of Ni-containing alloys are improved below 300 °C.
