Abstract
ⶠThe effect of SRB on corrosion of the stainless steel was investigated. ⶠThe effect of chloride ion on corrosion of the stainless steel was investigated. ⶠPitting susceptibility of the steel was enhanced by SRB and chloride ion. ⶠMany pitting holes were clearly observed on the surface of the steel.
