Abstract
In the adaptive optics (AO) system, due to the restrictions of the conventional algorithms and the limited actuators of the deformable mirror (DM), the compensation results always have sort of limitations when dealing with the corner parts of the wavefront. A sub-regional wavefront hybrid algorithm (SWHA) method based on the regions of wavefront and the present correction algorithms is proposed to solve the essential problem. The simulation and experiment were carried out to prove that the SWHA algorithm has an ability to correct the aberrations and especially the large distortion in the corner parts.
