Abstract
We evaluate the quantum transport through one mesoscopic circuit with its embedded quantum dot coupled to the Majorana bound states (MBSs) at the ends of one topological-superconductor nanowire. The calculation results show that when the MBSs co-couple to the dot, antiresonance effect has an opportunity to take place, and the antiresonance point is related to the inter-MBS coupling. Moreover, once the dot-MBS coupling strengths are equal to each other, the Fano effect takes place, manifested as the Fano lineshape in the transmission-function spectrum. The results in this work can provide new information for the understanding of the MBS-contributed quantum transport through quantum-dot systems.
