Abstract
Core-shell p-CuO/n-ZnO heterojunction nanocomposite was synthesized by microstructural refinement and solid-state reactions using a non-equilibrium technique. The nanocomposite showed broadband absorption over the UV and visible region and yielded an efficiency of about 6.12% when used as an electrode material for photoelectrochemical energy conversion.156
