Abstract
Our present investigations show that with increasing magnetic field strength, the cyclotron masses split into two branches (m+∗ andm−∗). The variation of space between m+∗ andm−∗ with coupling strength α is interpreted that strong coupling intend to make the 3D QDs keep stable. We discuss the variational characteristics of cyclotron mass with the confinement lengths in the xy-plane and the z direction of QD. We found the change of spatial confinement in the xy-plane and the z direction has a certain impact in the behavior of the cyclotron mass.86
