Abstract
- Spherical quantum dot with modified Pöschl-Teller potential is studied.
- Analytical expressions for the particle energy spectrum are obtained.
- Dependance of absorption coefficient on sizes of quantum dot is obtained.
- We have found selection rules corresponding to different transitions.
