Abstract
NiCoO2/CoO/Ni3N nanosheet arrays are fabricated in situ on the 3D nickel foam (NiCoON NSAs/NF). The NiCoON NSAs/NF have excellent catalytic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) properties such as a small overpotential of 247â¯mV (at 10â¯mAâ¯cmâ2) and Tafel slope of 35â¯mVâ¯decâ1 in 1â¯M KOH. The favorable crystal structure, highly active species (β-NiOOH and oxygen vacancies), and Ni3+-rich surface in conjunction with Co incorporation enhance the OER performance.309
