Abstract
We report a comprehensive review of the state-of-the-art research on recent progress of various fluoropolymer materials-based high performance triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). TENGs are mechanical energy harvesters based on charge transfer, and thus maximizing the electrical potential difference is major contributing factor. We discuss the most high performance TENGs exploiting fluorine-based polymers and series of materials having excellent electron affinity properties. Finally, this review is aiming to suggest direction for future research of TENGs in following perspectives; material, structure, circuitry.334
