Abstract
The atomic electronic structures of Cu2O nanowires were investigated by combining systematic first-principles calculations with material synthesis, characterization, device fabrication and performance measurements. These nanowires exhibit tunable band gap, efficient carrier separation, and excellent visible light photoresponse.373
