Abstract
A smart, anti-piercing and eliminating-dendrite lithium-manganite/graphene-oxide/lithium (LMO/GO/Li) battery is developed by using a polypropylene/GO/polypropylene trilayer separator. Benefiting from the spontaneous redox reaction, metallic Li can be efficiently etched by GO, thus endowing the LMO/GO/Li battery with the abilities of anti-penetration and eliminating Li dendrites. This work sheds light on the development of safe and long lifespan lithium metal battery.124
