Abstract
Developing a sustainable and environmentally friendly methods with remarkably lower energy consumption and comparable yield with the current state of the art system is required to meet the future nitrogen-based fertilizers demands. Using hollow plasmonic nanostructures in (photo)electrochemical systems under ambient conditions can make an indispensable route for distributed fertilizer production.225
