Abstract
During the ball-milling process in air, Ti can preferentially capture oxygen to prevent oxidation of the active alloy elements and the CNT, thus maintaining electrical conductivity. During cycling, TiO2 component can provide fast ionic conductivity, while CNT acts as a good electrical conductor and buffering matrix to accommodate volume changes and synergistically maintain the charge transfer and the structural integrity.339
