Abstract
A simple top-down synthesis methodology is reported to synthesize colloidal MoO3, which was embedded in the nanopores of W0.71Mo0.29O3 nanowires to form a solution-processable colloid. The hybrid material addresses the electrochromic shortcomings of MoO3 and exhibits enhanced electrochromic and energy storing performance, which was successfully used for a complementary energy storing smart window prototype.297
