Abstract
A high rate Li-ion battery electrode was developed by coupling molybdenum oxide thin films with graphene in a 3D bicontinuous nanoporous architecture. The novel 3D bilayer electrode favors fast electron and ion transport kinetics and gives rise to an outstanding electrochemical performance with combined Li-ion battery-level capacity and supercapacitor-level rate capability and lifetime.279
