Abstract
High-resolution observation of Na plating/stripping processes on carbon nanofiber (CNF) 3D current collectors via in-situ electron microscopies for the first time. Due to inter-fiber ion transport, Na deposits grow and dissolve reversibly and can be evenly distributed over the entire CNF network without dendrite growth. Thus-obtained CNF-Na composite would be a promising anode candidate for high-energy-density Na battery systems.271
