Abstract
An almost-pure sulfur electrode with a sulfur content up to 95 wt% is realized with a single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) conductive skeleton. Benefiting from the high electronic conductivity of the SWCNTs together with their interwoven network structure, high areal capacities up to 8.63 mA h cm−2 and good cycling stabilities are obtained, showing great promise in practical high-energy density Li-S batteries.227
