Abstract
⺠We report the effect of orientation on void coalescence under various load conditions. ⺠The deformation localization in soft orientation is serious under high triaxial load. ⺠Voids in soft orientations tend to coalesce much easier under high triaxial load. ⺠Voids in hard orientations tend to coalesce much easier under low biaxial load.
