Abstract
⺠Highly detailed FE model (micromechanical level) of three point bending test on sandwich. ⺠Accurate modeling of the crushing behaviour of the core during the last part of TPBT. ⺠Influence of various parameters (friction and relative position of the puncher) has been numerically evaluated. ⺠Very refined, numerical simulations contribute to an increased understanding of these materials.
