Abstract
⺠In this paper, vibrational and transient analyses of SLGSs are completed. ⺠Molecular mechanics based on finite element approach is employed. ⺠Consistent mass matrix is employed in modal and transient analyses. ⺠The Newmark method is employed to integrate the associated transient equations. ⺠Power spectral density properties of responses match with modal features of SLGSs.
