Abstract
A facile co-assembly strategy is developed for the first time to prepare MXene Ti3C2Tx encapsulated TiO2 nanospheres (TiO2@Ti3C2Tx) for sodium-ion batteries. The MXene layers improve the electronic conductivity, confine the structural change, maintain the integrity of the electrode and contribute to the formation of a stable SEI layer, resulting in a remarkable performance in both half and full cells.277
