Abstract
												Layered TiS2cathode material demonstrates outstanding potassium storage cycle and rate performances in ether-based electrolyte, with a capacity of 80 mAh g-1 at 4.8 A g-1 (20 C) and 63 mAh g-1 after 600 cycles. K intercalation into TiS2 undergoes a second-stage (K0.11TiS2) then first-stage structure (K0.56TiS2) concomitantly with a 3Ã3 commensurate superstructure along the [001] zone.195
