Abstract
CNT sponge based 3D host is directly grown on Cu foil as a promising integrated electrode to stabilize Li metal anode. The 3D host is light weight (10â¯mg/cm3) and highly porous (porosity>99%). It has adequate space to host metallic Li and tolerate its infinite volume change. The deposited metallic Li is found to be well confined in the 3D host and therefore the growth of dendritic and mossy Li is successful suppressed.280
