Abstract
A scalable and thickness-controllable strategy is reported for preparing the double core-shell WC@C@Pt structure based on a half combustion synthesis-carbonation method. The unique structure can improve the electrical conductivity, reduce the overpotential and enhance the fixation of Pt on its WC@C support, and therefore high efficiency and stability of WC@C@Pt for HER in acidic/alkaline solution are obtained.173
