Abstract
Multi-scale and multi-technic analysis of a linear friction welded metastable-β Ti17 joint in the as-welded (AW) configuration and after a Post-Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) by annealing (AN) and ageing (AG) using: thermocouples (TC), Optical Microscopy (OM), micro-hardness (Hv), Electron Back-Scatter Diffraction (EBSD) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD).
