Abstract
Remarkable enhancements in tensile strength (â¼625Â MPa) and elongation ratio (â¼1%), being three and five times, respectively, as large as those of the binary Fe81Ga19 alloy, were obtained in situ dual-reinforcement (TaCparticle+TaCdendrite)/Fe81Ga19 magnetostrictive composites due to grain refinement and secondary-phase reinforcement.
