Abstract
The tensile yield behavior of Fe-30Mn-3Al-3Si twining-induced plasticity steel was investigated in this paper. Only the annealed samples with medium grain sizes ranging from 1.6 to 22 μm exhibited a yield-drop phenomenon. The reason for the occurrence of a yield-drop phenomenon is the reduction of dislocation density during tensile deformation.
