Abstract
Nanocrystalline aluminum (Al) was successfully synthesized via spark plasma sintering technique using the organic-coated nano-Al powders. The bulk compact exhibits a high relative density of 99.5% along with the average grain size of 70Â nm and micro-hardness of 2.88Â GPa as well as an excellent compressive strength of 620Â MPa.
