Abstract
The crystallographic texture within some powder-compacted Oxide-Dispersion-Strengthened FeAl and FeCrAl alloys has been determined by Electron BackScatter Diffraction measurements and correlated with alloy composition variations and consolidation method. The compositional changes hardly affect the texture obtained, while lowering reduction ratio during extrusion or forging leads to weakly-textured, almost isotropic materials.
