Abstract
Accumulative roll bonding (ARB) is modified for processing strips with selected distribution of accumulated strain and hardness across their thickness, entitled as strain composite strips (SCS). Comparison of SCS and ARB processed strips shows an improvement in ductility of SCS at the cost of a small decrease in strength.
