Abstract
⺠Mg-(3-5) wt.%Sr-(0.7-2) wt.%Mn alloys show high creep resistance at 40-50 MPa/150-200 °C. ⺠Orientation relationship (OR) between α-Mn and Mg17Sr2 was ã001ã||ã12¯13¯ã. ⺠and {110}||{11¯01}. ⺠OR caused morphology change in the dynamic precipitation of α-Mn. ⺠Creep enhancement in Mg-Sr-Mn was attributed to the dynamic precipitation of α-Mn. ⺠The coarsening of dynamically precipitated α-Mn caused loss of creep resistance.
