Abstract
► We report microstructural evolution of disordered Ni-Ge precipitates in Ni3Ge alloys. ► Coarsening kinetics and particle size distributions are presented. ► Data are analyzed quantitatively using the MSLW theory, but agreement is only fair. ► The shapes of large precipitates are unusual, with discus or boomerang cross-sections. ► Results are compared with morphology, kinetics of Ni-Al in inverse Ni3Al alloys.
