Abstract
⺠The quaternary Sn-12Zn-3Bi-0.5Si alloy has very good mechanical properties. ⺠The addition of silicon delays the fracture and improves the creep resistance. ⺠Electrical resistivity values are dependent on Si addition. ⺠The quaternary alloy has the most suitable properties required for solder applications.
