Abstract
⺠Effect of Mn concentrations on the microstructure of Al-15%Mg2Si composite. ⺠Ultimate tensile strength values changed from 240 MPa to 270 MPa by adding Mn. ⺠The addition of 2 wt.% Mn increased the elongation values from 2.6% to 3.7%. ⺠Mn addition conducted fracture behavior of the composite from brittle to ductile.
