Abstract
⺠Mo coating was used as interfacial modification layer of SiC/Ti6Al4V composites. ⺠The interfacial products sequence is: Mo coating |TiC|Mo + β-Ti|β-Ti|β-Ti + α-Tistrip. ⺠Ïb of the composite is greatly improved as Mo coating hindered interfacial reaction. ⺠Mo coating has excellent thermal stability when temperature is below 700 °C.
