Abstract
⺠Microstructures and mechanical properties of wrought Ti-6Al-4V-B are investigated. ⺠α lamellae kinking and alignment of TiB particles occurs during forging. ⺠EBSD reveals basal texture in B free alloy and random texture in 0.09B alloy. ⺠Tensile and fatigue properties get enhanced slightly upon forging. ⺠The effect of TiB particles on mechanical properties was found to be insignificant.
