Abstract

âº Equiaxed Î² grains for two alloys due to dynamic recrystallization. âº Large shear bands parallel to the extrusion direction only for Ti-6Al-4V. âº Phase transformation without TiB particles for Ti-6Al-4V-0.1B. âº Limited variant selection and stronger texture for Ti-6Al-4V. âº Minor anisotropy in hardness after extrusion for two alloys.
