Abstract
⺠A micromechanical model is proposed to simulate the behavior of high Mn TWIP steel. ⺠Microstructure and texture evolutions during deformation are simulated by the model. ⺠Taylor and translated field homogenization schemes are used for the simulations. ⺠Tensile and shear deformations are simulated with good agreement with experiments. ⺠SEM-EBSD, TEM and texture measurements are used to support the model predictions.
