Abstract
												⺠We studied crystallographic dependence of fatigue crack growth in single crystals. ⺠Three crack growth mechanisms were confirmed from crystallographic perspective. ⺠In crystal oriented for prismatic slip, slip-off mechanism occurs to form striations. ⺠Herringbone patterns are formed by combined slip-off mechanism of pyramidal slips. ⺠Basal plane separation occurs associated with twinning by loading along c-axis.
