Abstract
- A Cu-0.1% Zr alloy was processed by HPT for up to 10 turns.
- The hardness and microstructure both evolve with increasing torsional strain.
- There is a high degree of homogeneity after 5 and 10 turns.
- A maximum tensile elongation of 280% was recorded in testing at 723Â K.
