Abstract
⺠Basic topochemical UMSP investigations on bacterial degraded wood. ⺠Lignin modification mainly occurs in the region of S2. ⺠Residual material consists of unmodified and modified lignin compounds. ⺠Depolymerization of the native ligno-cellulosic matrix causes increase in UV-absorbance.
