Abstract
⺠We detail ultrastructural toxicity of Egyptian sand viper postsynaptic neurotoxin. ⺠We examine the ability of grape seed extract to antagonize this toxicity. ⺠The neurotoxin caused alterations in diaphragm muscles, axons and nerve terminals. ⺠The toxic activities of the neurotoxin were inhibited by grape seed extract. ⺠Grape seed extract has protective & therapeutic potential to be used as antivenom.
