Abstract
⺠We perform a comprehensive micro-structural analysis of MFC composites. ⺠A method for differentiating unbleached from bleached MFC in SEM-BEI images is introduced. ⺠The combination of complementary MFCs yields improved film properties with respect to strength and water wettability properties. ⺠Characterisation of MFC-composites is valuable for understanding their properties.
