Abstract
► We propose an application of the multifocus imaging technique to an alluvial garnet. ► Appropriate magnifications allow seeing both external and internal features. ► The multifocus stack yields a three-dimensional overview of inclusions. ► Both micromorphological features and inclusion distribution are illustrated.
