Abstract
⺠We describe characterization of collagen nanostraws in costal cartilage. ⺠We measured Young's Modulus of elasticity of these structures. ⺠This information is important in biomechanical studies of costal cartilage relevant to the formation of chest wall deformities. ⺠This information is crucial in understanding microfluidic flow in these structures.
