Abstract
⺠Amorphous based nanocrystalline Sm-Co-type ribbons were prepared by melt-spinning. ⺠Sm-Co-type ribbons containing amorphous phase show excellent coercivity. ⺠Interactions between amorphous and nanocrystalline phases improve the coercivity. ⺠High amorphous content can be obtained in this study. ⺠The amorphous phase behaves ferromagnetism and is stable below 500 °C.
